Powai is located in North Mumbai. Once regarded as a distant Mumbai suburb, Powai is now a vital part of the modern Mumbai metropolitan region. Given Powai's superior infrastructure and modern residential buildings (compared with the majority of Mumbai), Powai is now one of the City's most upmarket residential locales.
As Powai has grown in popularity, western restaurants, bars, nightclubs, gyms, spas, etc. have emerged. Although rents in Powai have been increasing over the years, Powai remains a less expensive option compared to other popular Mumbai expat neighborhoods such as the Bandra Area and Juhu.
If working in Andheri West, Anderhi East, Goreagon or Powai, we would consider living in Powai. Mumbai's international and domestic airports are only 15 minutes away.
The Sea Link Bridge connects Bandra with Worli located in Central Mumbai making it very easy to live in the Bandra Area and commute to Central or Lower Mumbai.
Bandra Area is relatively close to both the domestic airport which is 15 minutes away and the international airport which is approximately 25 minutes away.
